Instead of developing only one type of electrified vehicle and expecting everyone to adapt their lifestyle to the car, Ford offers the power of choice- a plan that allows Ford to come to market with three different types of electrified powertrains that meet the broadest range of Lamoureux Ford customer needs.  That way, more of our customers have the option to choose an energy-saving low-emissions vehicle.

Rather that start from scratch, Ford's electrified vehicles are built on the same platform at the same assembly plant as their gasoline counterparts, allowing Ford's innovative electrified vehicle lineup to share the same Ford quality.  Platform sharing also accelerates the time it takes to introduce new electrified vehicles and helps reduce development and manufacturing costs, so the savings can be passed on to Lamoureux Ford customers.

All-electric Vehicles

Feature an electric motor, high-voltage lithium-ion battery pack and exterior charging port.  Also use regenerative braking.  There's no gasoline engine- they run purely on electricity.  Gas-free.  All-electric.  Zero CO2 emissions.

Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles

Feature a gasoline engine and an electric motor with regenerative braking system, but add an exterior charging port with the ability to be plugged into a wall outlet to fully charge the high-voltage lithium-ion battery pack.

Hybrid Vehicles

Feature a gasoline engine plus an electric motor and a high-voltage battery pack with a regenerative braking system.
